Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director for the South
Central region.
Key Responsibilities
Review and determine authorization of requested services and levels
of care based on clinical guidelines and policies
Engage in discussions with external physicians to gather clinical
information and resolve conflicts
Support regional market priorities through collaboration with
healthcare professionals and community groups
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree
5+ years of direct clinical patient care experience post residency
or fellowship
Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
A current and unrestricted medical license in at least one
jurisdiction
No current sanctions from Federal or State Governmental
organizations
