Job Description:

A company is looking for an Assistant Medical Director to provide clinical oversight and support for health care delivery improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Apply clinical judgment and evidence-based medicine for timely clinical peer reviews
Engage with attending physicians regarding potential decertification and related issues
Provide expertise and support to clinical reviewers, case managers, and consultants

Required Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited institution
Current, active, and unrestricted licensure in the relevant state
At least 4 years of medical practice experience
